Terms and Conditions
Foreword
BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE, PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY. YOU WILL FIND ALL THE INFORMATION REGARDING THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE OF THE CIPC.COM ONLINE STORE, YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS THE RESTRICTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS APPLICABLE TO YOUR PURCHASES, IF ANY.
Any order for goods made on the CIPC.com website implies the prior acceptance of these general conditions. The consumer acknowledges being fully informed that their agreement regarding the content of these general conditions does not require a handwritten signature, insofar as the consumer orders the products sold by CIPC.com online.
The consumer declares having the full legal capacity allowing them to commit under these General Conditions of Sale. These conditions are subject to modification at CIPC.com's discretion at any time and without prior notice.
Return Policy
No refund or credit will be made for purchases made from the CIPC.com online store. All sales are final. To ensure your satisfaction, please communicate any questions with CIPC.com before completing your order.
CIPC.com allows the return of defective products for exchange or repair purposes (according to the manufacturer's policy) for a period of thirty (30) days following the original invoice date. Beyond this period, the consumer is responsible for honoring the manufacturer's warranty.
In all cases, the following procedure must be followed to return a product:
1. You must first obtain an "RMA" return number for the products concerned from CIPC.com. To obtain this return number, you must write to the following address: support@CIPC.com.
When you receive the "RMA" return number from CIPC.com, the product must be returned to CIPC.com in its original and complete packaging (accessories, manuals, warranty coupon, notices, discs, etc.), all protected by outer packaging (shipping box) clearly showing the RMA number provided by CIPC.com. Any product that has been damaged, is incomplete, or whose original packaging is deteriorated or absent will not be exchanged.
The defective product must be shipped within thirty (30) days following the original invoice date. The shipping date, as ensured by the postal service or courier service (Purolator, FedEx, UPS, etc.) selected by the consumer, must correspond to 30 days or less from the original invoice date for the defective merchandise return to be accepted.
Beyond this thirty (30) day period, only the manufacturer's warranty applies. The consumer is then responsible for honoring the warranty with the manufacturer.
CIPC.com recommends returning merchandise using a courier service that has insurance guaranteeing the consumer, if applicable, compensation for products at their actual market value in case of breakage or loss of the package.
The consumer is responsible for the return shipping costs of the defective product. Original shipping or delivery costs are non-refundable. In the case of exchanging a defective product, the delivery costs of the replacement product will be covered by CIPC.com.
Several products are not covered by this return policy once their original packaging has been altered. These products include all software (operating systems, office suites, video games, antivirus, etc.), as well as any modified or altered product.
THIS RETURN POLICY DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A WARRANTY.
CIPC.com reserves the right, at any time, to modify or cancel this policy before accepting your order.
To obtain an exchange for any defective product, you must fully follow the procedure mentioned in the section: Merchandise Return Procedure.
When the defective product is received by CIPC.com, you must allow reasonable time for the product to be inspected and sent to the manufacturer. As soon as your return is accepted, CIPC.com will inform you of the approximate time required for the merchandise return from the manufacturer and will send you your replacement product as soon as possible. The delivery costs of the replacement product will be covered by CIPC.com. If the product returned by the consumer is evaluated as functional by CIPC.com, the return costs must be assumed by the consumer.
Merchandise Return Procedure
A. To obtain a merchandise return authorization (RMA) number, you must:
1. Contact CIPC.com's RMA service by email at: support@cipc.com.
2. Mention the invoice number, purchase date, product serial number that is the subject of the return request and the reasons for the return request.
Note: RMA numbers are valid for a period ending on the first of the following dates: thirty (30) days after the original invoice date or thirty (30) days after the RMA number issuance date (5 days for laptops, monitors and tablets). The shipping date, as ensured by the postal service or courier service selected by the consumer, will serve as proof and will be verified by CIPC.com.
B. Packaging and shipping.
The consumer must:
1. Provide a copy of the original invoice for each product subject to the return request.
2. Pack the products in their original outer packaging (shipping box) with all accessories, including manuals, warranty coupons, notices, discs, cables, etc.
3. Clearly indicate the RMA number provided by CIPC.com on the outer packaging (shipping box).
4. CIPC.com recommends using Canada Post Express services or a recognized courier (Purolator, FedEx, UPS, etc.) to obtain a tracking number and signature confirmation. Additionally, you can also insure your shipment in case of breakage or loss of your product.
5. Ship to the address indicated by CIPC.com the shipping box for which transport costs (and optionally your shipment insurance) have been prepaid.
C. The replacement of your product will be made when the merchandise is received by CIPC.com and will be sent to you as promptly as possible. No prior replacement will be accepted.
D. The consumer must assume the following charges: transport costs (and insurance, if applicable).
